It was a very nice and quiet day in Lowee, with Blanc taking this chance to organize the books in her library and make sure the library looked nice and tidy. She was humming a beat from a Nintendo game as she did so, rather happy for the quiet and the fact she could do this.
The door to the living room opened up and Rom walked over to her sister, “Uh… Onee-chan, do we have any spare pillows?”
“Yea, they’re in the guest room, second door to the right. I have a couple, so take as many as you need,” Blanc told Rom.
“Thank you,” Rom smiled as she walked off, took some pillows, and then walked back into the living room. After a moment, Rom walked back in, “Uh… Onee-chan, do we have any spare blankets?”
“Store room. Fourth door to the right of the bathroom,” Blanc answered.
“Thank you,” Rom smiled as she walked off to go and get them. She dragged them into the living room and then walked back into the library again, “Uh… Onee-chan, do you have any sort of spare like… uh… noteboards that you… hang on walls?”
“Yea. Second door to the left,” Blanc informed.
“Thank you,” Rom smiled as she walked off and got at least one or two and took them back into the living room with her, she then walked back in again, “Uh… Onee-chan, do we have any spare chairs?”
“Yep. Store room,” Blanc told her sister.
“Thank you,” Rom smiled as she walked back to the store room and got them, dragging at least three chairs back into the living room with her. She walked back in and over to her sister, “Uh… Onee-chan, do you have any books on forts?”
“Forts? Yea, yea I do. I’m actually reorganizing the ‘f’s right now. Hang on I’ll look for one,” Blanc told her sister, guiding the ladder on wheels she was using over to the ‘f-r’s and she began to search for a book on forts, “Hmm… no, no… no… ‘f-o-r’... ‘f-o-r’. Oh. Here we are,”
She took the book and climbed down to hand it to Rom.
“Here you go sis,” Blanc told her.
“Thank you,” Rom smiled again as she walked back into the living room.
Before Blanc climbed back up, she thought about everything Rom had asked her for and gave a sigh as she got off the ladder and walked into the living room, seeing a small section of it was being turned into a fort.
“Rom, what are you doing?” Blanc inquired.
“Oh… I uh… uh… I… wanted to… build a fort,” Rom informed nervously, twiddling her fingers.
“...okay,” Blanc shrugged, “Just… don’t take up all of the living room, we need it for things,”
“I won’t,” Rom assured as she got back under the blanket she was using as a roof.

*As the instrumental goes on, there was a focus on the sky, with Neptune standing at the ground, a wide smile on her face, before turning to her friends and the fellow CPUs before the camera panned back up and the Title appeared.*

*Vert sat at a table, drinking a tea, and a girl wearing green sitting next to her and the girl was actually Nepgear, who simply tried to drink the tea before she gave an awkward look at Vert.*

Chapter 7: The Great Fort-Off</u>

Rom was still working on her little fort, with Blanc having finished reorganizing and watching as Rom did her work.
“Ick… what’s that lump over there?” Ram inquired of Blanc as she walked over.
“What lump?” Blanc responded.
“That thing over in the corner,” Ram clarified, pointing to the fort in progress.
“That’s probably Rom’s fort,” Blanc informed.
Ram stared at the fort being built before rolling her eyes and walking off, while Blanc simply sat down and saw it being progressively built. However, when she began to hear construction working sounds, she got a bit nervous.
She heard a hammering sound.
“...Rom? I thought you were making a fort with blankets and pillows… not with actual tools like that,” Blanc asked nervously.
She then heard a saw sound.
“...R-Rom? Be-be careful…” Blanc said in concern.
There was a jackhammering sound.
“Okay, that’s it!” Blanc said in worry as she walked over and pulled up the blanket, “Rom, what in the world are you doing in there with… those… tools?”
However, she looked and saw Rom had no tools with her.
“...okay, where were all of those sounds coming from?” Blanc inquired.
“Oh? You heard that… s-s-sorry…” Rom apologized, “...I just… used a sound app on my phone… as… motivation, of a sort. I didn’t mean to scare you…”
“...Oh… well… just… lower the volume,” Blanc told Rom, who nodded and did so, “...you mind me peeking?”
“...okay,” Rom nodded, as she guided her sister inside, “It’s still a work in progress, but… this is my blanket fort.”
Blanc looked around and saw various pillows were set up by some sections of the corner, chairs were being used to keep the blankets up, and there were some toys from Rom’s room inside of it.
“Over there is the kitchen,” Rom pointed, showing a small part with a few snacks and a tiny table from a playset in her room.
“Over there is the media room,” she added, showing a small DVD player with a Gamecube and a Wii U plugged into it, along with a 3DS nearby charging up.
“Over there is the sitting room,” Rom stated next, showing a small part that didn’t have anything there next to a one of those boards you’d see people put pictures and notes on with thumbtacks.
“And lastly… the bedroom,” Rom concluded, pointing to a few pillows and blankets set up, “So… uh… it’s not finished but… wh-what d-d-do you think of it?”
“It’s… rather cute,” Blanc smiled, “You really planned this out. But… why is there a bedroom in here, mind my asking?”
“...just as a… home away from home,” Rom responded.
“...you’re still in our home,” Blanc pointed out.
“I know,” Rom nodded.
“Well… have fun finishing it, I hope to be invited into your little blanket fort when you finish it,” Blanc smiled as she headed out.
“Oh, Onee-chan… I’m gonna have a password for entry,” Rom informed.
“Okay then… so, what’s the password going to be?” Blanc asked.
Rom motioned for Blanc to come in close, and Blanc nodded upon hearing the password.

“Yo yo yo readers!” Neptune smiled, winking at the camera, “This is the CPU of Planeptune, Purple Heart here!”
“Onee-chan, what’s going on?” Nepgear asked as she walked in, currently in her pajamas.
“So that’s the younger sister?” somebody asked Neptune.
“That’d be correct. She was up late playing a video game that recently released,” Neptune informed.
“That’s sounds more like something you’d do Lady Purple Heart,” the interviewer stated.
“That was so funny I forgot to laugh. At least I woke up and tried to make myself look decent for this interview,” Neptune stated.
“That’s good to know. So… there have been rumors going around Planeptune that I wish to ask if it’s true or not,” the interviewer began, “Is it true you are having a romantic affair with CPU Black Heart?”
“Uh… w-well… no,” Neptune stated.
“You hesitated, why was that?”
“I… I uh…”
“Isn’t there rumors that Purple Sister is having a romantic affair with another CPU Candidate?” the person holding the camera inquired.
“Uh… I think so,” Neptune shrugged, desperately looking for a way to get the camera off of herself, “Um… c-can we please not talk about romance?”
“So… what’s up with Compa and IF? Your two sidekicks?”
“They aren’t my sidekicks…” Neptune informed as she saw Nepgear start to eat breakfast, “Hey! There’s my sister! Talk to her a bit!”
Nepgear just ignored the cameras and ate her bowl of chocolate Ganbare Clovers. She didn’t really seem to care that the camera crews were watching her as she smiled while eating.
“So, Candidate Purple Sister, how are you this morning?” somebody asked Nepgear.

“Onee-chan, lookie here, Neptune and Nepgear are on TV!” Ram told Blanc, making her look at the screen and see Nepgear on the screen.
-...tired.- Nepgear said on TV as she ate.
-Interesting… very interesting. So, is it true there’s a romantic affair going on with you and another CPU Candidate?-
“...romantic affair?” Ram asked Blanc in confusion.
“It basically means that someone is in love with another person. It’s basically a fancy way to say ‘are you in a relationship’.” Blanc explained.
Rom poked her head out from her blanket fort upon hearing this.
-...So… why do you care?- Nepgear retorted, -What’s my business is mine, I’d never tell anybody I don’t trust if I loved somebody…-

“...you two are boring, you know that?” the interviewer groaned.
“...Onee-chan, can you make them leave so that we can please just enjoy this morning?” Nepgear asked as she continued to eat her breakfast
“Can’t. I promised them one full day with us both…”
“Mou…” Nepgear groaned as she thunked her head into her cereal bowl by accident.
“Ano… Nep Jr., you got-”
“Not in the mood,”
Histoire floated on in and over to the coffee machine, managing to get herself a cup and she began to pour in a decaf, but the machine didn’t work for a moment.
“So that’s the oracle who actually does all the work?” the interviewer asked, scaring Histoire into accidentally knocking her cup out of the maker and getting coffee poured onto her.
“Who are you?! What are you doing here?!” Histoire demanded.
“Oh, we’re here because Lady Purple Heart said we would do an entire day with you all,” the intervierwer informed.
“...Neptune, a word please?” Histoire asked in anger.

“Why. Did. You agree to a full day with cameras?!” Histoire demanded to know as Neptune was standing with her in a private room.
“...Well, I wanted to show folks what a good CPU I am,” Neptune admitted.
“Well you could’ve done that by doing your job Neptune!”
“But that’s boring. I wanted to have a bit of fun while doing so!”
Histoire groaned a bit, hovering back as she held out her coffee cup, “Just get me my coffee and a towel, I’m lucky none of my pages got wet…”
Neptune nodded as she hurried off to do so. Histoire just sighed as Neptune came back with the towel.

Back with Blanc, the three CPUs were all laughing at how Neptune was acting like her usual goofy self.
-Hey Nepgear-chan, what’re you doing with that honey?- Neptune asked.
-Making a honey and jelly sandwich.-
-Honey and Jelly?-
-I’m allergic to peanuts, remember?-
-Oh, okay.-
Nepgear began to eat, happily preparing her sandwich before Neptune got out jalapenos and slipping it into Nepgear’s sandwich when she wasn’t looking. The CPU candidate smiled as she ate it before her face looked like it was turning red from the spice.
-Ah~... JALAPENO!!!!- she screamed.
Ram began to laugh, Blanc attempted to stifle her laughter, but Rom didn’t find it funny at all as Nepgear rushed around looking for something to cool her mouth and ended up getting some milk from what was left of her breakfast.
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Ram laughed.
“Ram… that wasn’t very funny,” Rom said in a frustrated tone, Blanc realizing this before she covered up Ram’s mouth.

Nepgear stormed out of the house to try and get away from the camera crew for a little while. She was so annoyed by what Neptune did as she chugged down some whole milk to cool her mouth, and at the moment, wanted nothing to do with her big sister. She just stormed away before sitting down under a nearby tree and trying to relax.
She then heard her phone chirp a bit, before picking it up and seeing a text.
-Saw u on TV. U ok?- Rom asked via a text.
“Aww… that’s really sweet of her…” Nepgear said quietly as she typed out a response.
-Been better.-
-Hope you’re recovering ok. Wanna come over to my house?-
Nepgear blushed a tiny bit, smiling before she responded.
-Sure. : ) See u soon. ; )-
“Hey Nep Jr.,” Neptune smiled as she walked on over, “Sorry about that little prank.”
“It’s fine… I guess,” Nepgear shrugged, “Anyway… I’m off to Rom and Ram’s for a bit,”
“I’m gonna come with you. We need a little sis-to-sis talk before the plot goes on,”
“Uh… okay? Let’s get going,” Nepgear groaned.

Neptune, Nepgear and the camera crew arrived at Blanc’s home, all of them currently relaxing a bit.
“Neptune… why is the camera crew here?” Blanc inquired.
“Simple, we still need a couple more hours of footage and Nepgear was heading over here anyway, plot said so,” Neptune informed.
“You know Nepgear, I will not understand your older sister sometimes…” Uni informed as she walked on over.
“Uni-chan?” Nepgear blinked, “When’d you get here?”
“I was here since maybe five minutes ago? Onee-chan sent me here because she said I was bothering her… a shame, too. I was finished with my work and she promised once that happened I’d get to play a recently finished demo of Kingdom Hearts 3…”
“Ah… Candidate Black Sister,” the interviewer smiled, “Uni… uh… that’s a bit of an odd name... no offense. Heard some people around Lastation call you ‘Blister’.”
“..Blister?”
“Short for Black Sister,”
“Ok… that’s an… odd nickname,” Uni admitted, shrugging.
“Well I just heard some people around Lastation call you that,” the interviewer shrugged. She then saw Rom’s blanket fort, “What’s that?”
“Oh that? It’s something my sister’s been working on for a while,” Ram informed as Rom walked in with plastic toy tools.
“...really?” Blanc giggled.
“You said it was okay,” Rom informed as she got back into the fort and then got to work ‘building’.
“...that’s kinda cute,” the cameraman admitted.
Suddenly, there was a hammering sound going off rather loudly.
“Oh… uh Rom, your sound thing,” Blanc informed
“Whoops, sorry,” Rom apologized as she turned down her phone.
“...why do I get the feeling Lady White Heart heard that earlier and thought she was using real tools?” the interviewer stated.
Neptune just chose to not say a word at this, knowing Blanc would indeed have reacted like that.
“So… how long has she been working on that fort?” the interviewer asked.
“A chapter,” Neptune answered.
“...about two to three days,” Blanc translated as the interviewer nodded.
Uni, Ram and Nepgear walked over to the fort and Ram knocked on a lid container that Rom had brought in. Rom moved a towel out of the way and showed her eyes.
“What’s the password?” Rom inquired.
“...password?” Ram blinked.
“No,” Rom responded as she moved the towel back in place.
“Hey!” Ram snapped, knocking on the lid again.
“What’s the password?”
“...Kirby’s Epic Yarn is the best Kirby game?”
“Nope. But that is a true statement,” Rom responded.
“I got this,” Blanc stated as she walked over.
“What’s the password?”
Blanc got in close and whispered it to Rom.
“That is correct. Come on in,” Rom replied, opening the door for Blanc.
“And this would be for them,” Blanc informed as she motioned for the other three Candidates to walk in, which they did, allowing Rom to show the fort to her sister and the other two Candidates.
“So… this is my fort,” Rom informed.
“Looks nice,” Nepgear smiled as Rom showed them around. The blonde in blue hid her blush behind her cap, explaining the different sections of the fort.
After she showed them the game area, Uni gave a small eye roll.
“This place is… nice…” Uni shrugged, “But perhaps you could add a few posters or something over on that poster board… maybe a few extra snacks over in the snack corner… but honestly, I think I could do a much better job making a fort.”
“Uni, don’t insult her. That’s really mean!” Nepgear told her, a glare on her face.
“...Sorry,” Uni apologized.
“Doesn’t it get warm in here?” Ram asked.
“I have a fan,” Rom said, pointing to a floor fan.
“Oh…” Ram blinked.
“I think this looks really nice Rom-chan. It’s very neat,” Nepgear smiled as they got out.
“So Blanc, Neptune, questions.” the interviewer informed, “Neptune, how did you react to the Penders mess in the Archie Comics? And Blanc, why hasn’t there been a Mario cartoon since 1991?”
“Penders is nothing but a money-grubbing character stealing jerk! I didn’t mind it much at first, but since he was forced to have Archie retcon the entire Sonic universe with the removal of characters claimed to create… that was just absurd, but him going as far as to claim Knuckles as his own just because he created Knuckles’ comic costume!? Not cool,” Neptune informed, a look of disgust coloring her face.
“I just fail to see a point in making a new one,” Blanc admitted.
“Even with Sonic Boom, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures and the new upcoming Megaman cartoon?” Ram asked.
“...Yes. And don’t get me started on making a movie about the Mario Bros. After the last flop, there’s no way I’m going to attempt another live-action videogame movie; if you want that craze to really take off, you’ll need to look elsewhere before I can really make it right,” Blanc informed.
“Ano… Onee-chan… Uni made fun of my fort by saying she could make a better one,” Rom told Blanc.
“Ugh… Uni, why?”
“I’m just saying, I think I could do a bit better,” Uni admitted.
“Is this a challenge?!” the interviewer asked, “Is there going to be some sort of a fort making contest between the CPU Candidates?!”
Ram took the microphone and smirked a bit, “You bet there is! Starting today and ending… next week on Friday, the CPU Candidates will be having the… the uh… the uh… Great Fort Off!”
“Oh no… Ram-chan…” Rom mumbled.

-Neptune, Nepgear. We just saw the news about this Great Fort Off. Are you all seriously going to have a fort building contest?- Compa inquired.
“Well… to be honest, I don’t know…” Neptune admitted, “Ram just made this declaration all of a sudden. Next thing you know, Uni and Ram are scurrying to build their own forts while Nep Jr.… is here with me.”
-Well… people are taking this very seriously Nep.- IF informed, -Everyone is already divided between who should win and who should lose. Vert’s already losing a bit of shares since… well, she doesn’t have a sister.-
“Okay. So what do you expect me to do?”
-...I hate to say this, but… have Nepgear compete.- IF sighed.
“WHAT?! Why? She doesn’t want to compete because she’d be against her little girlfriend.”
“...excuse me?” Nepgear growled.
-As much as I agree with Nepgear finding this pointless, in order to keep our shares from dwindling like Vert’s, we need to have her compete against the other candidates. We don’t really have much of a choice in the matter. Have Nepgear get back here ASAP.-
“Alright…” Neptune sighed, “Nep Jr. You need to compete.”
Nepgear sighed sadly, regrettably agreeing to do so.

About an hour later, Uni had returned to Lastation and begun to order some metal for her fort. She was already constructing plans for the fort as Noire heard about the contest, but didn’t really seem to care as she was on the phone.
“...I know Disney wants Frozen… Look, I already had Tangled announced in there, but I don’t plan on having Frozen right away. We are including more original worlds, but we’re not just gonna jump into the big hits like that. I’m still working in movies from the 90s to the 2000s, including Atlantis and Emperor’s New Groove. No, Wreck-It Ralph won’t have his new world! Getting licenses from other companies to make his world proper would be a nightmare, and I’m not only gonna focus on Sugar Rush, because it would be unfair. At most, Ralph will be a summon. ...no, I don’t care how much they’re gonna pay for Frozen. Yes! I’m serious! And before they bring them up, the same thing applies for Marvel, Lucasfilms, AND the Jim Henson Company/The Muppet Studios properties; we will save those as possible ideas for Kingdom Hearts 4 and games AFTER 3! ...Big Hero 6? Well… maybe… we’ll consider that for now,” she told the guys on the other end of the line as Uni walked in.
“Hey Onee-chan, where’s the rivets?” Uni asked.
“One second, Nomura-san,” Noire sighed, holding her hand over the phone, “Why do you need to know now, Uni? I’m busy discussing Kingdom Hearts with Nomura.”
“Fort contest,” Uni reminded.
Noire gave an annoyed groan, pointing to where the rivets were.
“Thank you,” Uni smiled as she proceeded to pick them up.
“Sorry about that. So… where were we?” Noire asked as she got back to the conversation, “...ugh. I still don’t care how much they’ll pay for Frozen. Plus, I want to at least TRY and start getting Disney/Pixar Movies in. I hated how we had to remove the Toy Story themed summons from Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. Again, let us focus on the Disney-owned properties with the exception of Pixar films. Yes, that includes The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, Wall-E, Up, and especially Toy Story; if they want to market any Kingdom Hearts toys, I would think that’d be the best way to go rather than pull the same schpeel the stupid Toys for Bob group pulled with their reboot/spin-off of my favorite dragon! Got it, Nomura-san?! ...G-Gomen… there’s been a lot of hype from the fans, they’ve been waiting for this game for years, and you held it off for a long time due to other projects like Final Fantasy. ...we’ll see about any more Final Fantasy characters, I don’t know yet! ...Inside Out? Hmm… that could be interesting… let me think about it.”

Uni got herself attached to a harness and got to work nailing bolts in, smirking as she worked hard.
“Okay then, I just have to bolt these in and get the wall up,” Uni muttered as she got to work putting the rivets in.

Ram got to work on her fort outside, having some carpenters aid her in making a fort that would both be on the ground and part treehouse.
“That’s it! Make that bridge happen!” Ram shouted into a megaphone.
The workers saluted as they managed to get to work harnessing the bridge. It was soon put into place as others continued work on the ground frame.

“Do we have any larger boxes?” Nepgear inquired as she rolled some boxes out into the front yard.
“We’ve got some,” Neptune informed as she rolled some boxes in.
“Thank you, Onee-chan,” Nepgear smiled as she began to glue some boxes.

Rom at the moment… was currently not doing anything as she was resting in her fort, playing Yoshi’s Woolly World, trying to get her mind off of the Great Fort Off.

Later, Vert was looking at the share ratings, shocked by how much her shares dropped.
“Well… I suppose this was to be expected with me not having a little sister,” Vert sighed.
“Bit of a bummer your most recent appearance is a sad time,” Neptune stated as she suddenly appeared behind Vert.
“AGH!” Vert gawked, making Neptune wave, “...how’d you get here?”
“You left your door open,” Neptune informed.
“Oh… right…” Vert sighed.
“Gonna go now. See you later,” Neptune waved as she skipped on out.
Vert sighed as she got back to work tracking the shares.

Back in Lastation, Uni was now working on the second floor of her fort, the first having been completed and was being filled with some nicknacks.
“Okay, now to get onto the other eight floors after the second is finished, and I’ll win the Fort-Off!” Uni announced as she put the last rivet into the second floor’s structer.

“How we doin’?” Ram asked as the bottom floor was now fully attached to the treehouse floor.
“Pretty good ma’am,” a worker informed, “We just finished connecting the floors and we’re now building into the tree,”
“Great!”

“How’s it goin’ Ge-Ge?” Compa inquired.
“Well… uh… good” Nepgear answered, showing her fort actually had various rooms at the moment and was very wide.
“Wow… I never expected you to do this much in only a couple of hours…” Compa gawked.
“...I want to do good, but I really don’t want Rom-chan to feel bad, so I only made it look passable…” Nepgear informed.
“Passable? Nepgear, I gotta say that your fort looks really impressive! You’ve managed to make almost two floors and 5 fully furnished rooms… you’re gonna win with ease!” IF smiled.
“...I don’t want to win,” Nepgear muttered as she walked into her fort.
“Why not? At the very least, you could tie with Rom and not make her upset,” IF informed.
Nepgear smiled, nodding in agreement, “I guess I could try and tie…”

Rom still didn’t do much of anything to change her blanket fort, only took some of the suggestions to add posters and extra snacks.
“...I’m tired,” she yawned as she walked over to the bedroom area of her fort. Afterwards, she fell asleep and felt relaxed as Kirby’s Epic Yarn music played from her phone.

At the same time, the others were hard at work at their forts over the course of a montage. By week’s end, they managed to finish them, with Uni’s and Ram’s being the most outrageous, Nepgear’s being middle of the road, while Rom’s remained mostly unchanged.

“Ano… Onee-chan…” Rom whispered the night before the fort judging.
“Hmm? ...what is it Rom?” Blanc inquired, waking up.
“Can I talk to you about this contest a bit?” Rom asked, “...I’m nervous about it…”
Blanc motioned for Rom to sit by her, which Rom did, sitting next to Blanc.
“I… I don’t want to win… but I don’t want to lose. I… I honestly didn’t want this contest to even start,” Rom sighed, “I’m nervous because… well, everyone’s expecting us to have made grand forts… I didn’t want to change mine. I’m proud of my fort.”
“...you should be. That’s what makes the fort so special.” Blanc smiled, “...look, while, yes, competition is what drives Gamindustri, you don’t always have to compete. I don’t want you girls to end up going into a console war like me, Vert, Noire and Neptune did.”
“...arigato, Onee-chan. That really helped me feel better. Nighty-night,” Rom smiled as she headed for the door and off to her room.
“...don’t ever change,” Blanc smiled, “...heh, she’s a lot like Kitty, a good person when kept away from a bad influence, IE Ram for Rom and Lydia in the case of Pride and Prejudice.”
With that, Blanc yawned before going to sleep, feeling a bit easier as she slept.

“Well, today is the day,” Histoire noted as she turned on the TV.
“Histy… the video game stores are closed… as are the groceries and fast food places and… a lot of other stuff,” Neptune whined, “What’s going on?”
“I think all of Gamindustri is tuning into this contest. They’re all too focused on seeing who ended up winning,” Histoire pointed out as Neptune saw people were gathered around TVs all around Planeptune.

“Hello and welcome to the Gamindustri News! Today, everyone is all excited for the CPU Candidate Fort-Off announced by Ram last week. We begin in Lastation with the CPU Candidate Black Sister,” the announcer began as footage went live with a reporter next to Uni who smiled.
-Thank you, this is Hakashi Niraka with CPU Candidate Black Sister, AKA Uni. Uni, would you be so kind as to show us your fort?-
-I will. Behold the fort that holds pride of being a Lastation native!- Uni declared, pointing to her fort, which was painted silver and was ten stories tall, -Made out of a special Lastation metal, this fort is designed not only for relaxation, but also as a watch tower. As you can see, the roof has a telescope, allowing me to not only have a good view of the stars at night, but also make sure my fort is safe from attacks.-
She then guided the news crew inside, showing off every room and floor, pointing out that each floor was dedicated to one activity each. She also showed off the elevator she had installed was custom-built and custom-designed for a semi relaxation waiting room as it had a fridge.
-This is very nice. Now, we go back to our announcer back at the station,- Nirakara smiled.
“This is a very impressive fort by Candidate Black Sister. Now, we move onto Candidate Purple Sister, aka Nepgear, who appears to have created her fort out of cardboard boxes. We now go over to Miyamoro Takanura, to get an idea of how this fort works,” the announcer smiled.
-Thank you, Naja-chan. I’m right here in Planeptune, with Candidate Purple Sister. So, Nepgear, may I ask the meaning behind your simple fort and why it’s made of cardboard?- Takanura inquired of Nepgear, who motioned to her simple fort.
-Well… I just wanted to make a simple fort, as I was inspired by Rom-chan to make something simple.- Nepgear smiled as she pulled the door open, showing the fort was like a one-story home made of the simple stuff, -I made a few extra rooms. Otherwise, it’s almost the same as Rom’s, but I tried to give it a nice feel that just said ‘Nepgear’. So, I have a couple games by the TV over there, a small cooler for a kitchen, a sleeping bag in the bedroom and finally a little couch for a living room of a sort.-
-Soka…- Takanura nodded as she walked alongside Nepgear.
-Yea… sometimes, simple is best.-
-I suppose so… back to Naja-chan.-
“Thank you Takanura-san. Now, we go over to Satoshi in Lowee with CPU Candidate Ram, one half of the White Sisters. Satoshi?”
-Thanks, Naja-chan. As you said, I’m here with Ram and her ground floor and treehouse fort. So Ram, what made you go with the treehouse fort approach and make it part ground?- Satoshi asked, moving the mike to Ram.
-Well… I’d personally say go big or go home, and I go BIG!- Ram smirked as she motioned for the camera crew to follow. Ram showed them the ground floor, which was more or less the living room and a fortified base entrance. She then guided them up the stairs and to the treehouse level, which was the rest of the living space, having the luxuries of a modern house, having a bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, a fully fledged entertainment center and home arcade, -Like I said. I go big!-
-And what a very impressive fort!- Satoshi smiled as they saw an extra door. He curiously walked on over to it and opened it up.
-No! Don’t open that-- Ram shouted, but it was too late and pie was splattered on the cameramen and Satoshi, -Door… that’s my prank planning room.-
-...and back to Naja-chan…- Satoshi sighed.
“Whoa… that may knock off a couple points for not properly warning out crew. However, it’s time to see Candidate Rom’s fort. We go over to Bell Linda. Linda-san?”
-Why did I get stuck with this stupid brat?- she muttered, but was picked up by her microphone, -Well, now we’re here at the final fort of the Great Fort-Off of the Candidates, and… the second White Sister, Rom, doesn’t appear to have changed her fort since we saw her last week. What’s the dealio?-
-Well it’s because I like to keep things… simple.- Rom smiled, -But I can’t show it unless you smile a little bit.-
-What a little dope, chump,- the cameraman muttered.
-Shut it!- Linda told him.
-You shut it, chump! Why do I gotta be the cameraman?!-
-I said shut it you little jerk unless you wanna get a beat down of a li--
“Linda-san. Please, show some professionalism.” Naja requested.
-...sorry.- Linda sighed, sorta smiling before Rom moved part of the blankets aside to let them into her fort, -Huh… okay… it’s… uh… small.-
-Move it, you’re in my way!- the cameraman shouted to Linda.
-Well, this was only designed for kids…- Rom admitted.
Linda muttered something, trying to hide any further negative feelings.
-So… this is my fort.- Rom smiled, -One of the simplest of those in the Great Fort-Off, I’m sure. But… simple isn’t bad.-
-Says the squirt CPU Candidate.- Linda muttered, but the microphone picked her up.
“What was that?”
-Nothing.- Linda stated, rolling her eyes.
-So… this is the bedroom… this is the kitchen… this is the media room… and this is the sitting room,- Rom smiled, motioning around.
-What’s the point of a sitting room? Giving yourself a timeout or something stupid of a child like you?- Linda asked.
Rom teared up a little bit, feeling rather offended as Linda and the cameraman left.
-Thank goodness I’m done with that brat.- Linda muttered as she got out, only to be grabbed by her shirt collar by Blanc.
-What were you saying about my little sister, punk?!- Blanc snapped, making Linda gulp in fear.
“...uh… I uh, well…? We’ll be back with the results.”

Both Linda and her cameraman were bruised a bit before Blanc kicked them out of the place before taking the camera.
“Sorry about that, but you don’t mock my sisters and get away with that!” Blanc told them as she slammed the door.
“...can we take these disguises off now?” the cameraman asked.
“Yea, no point in wearing these damn things now that the job is over,” Linda stated as they walked behind a building and took off the disguises they were in. Linda was actually a light grey skinned girl with green hair, red eyes, and pointy ears. She wore a black choke collar on her neck, along gloves that reach through her wrists, and are black on the dorsal side and red on the palm, and has white zig-zag lines on the wrists. On the top, she had nothing but an opened, hooded jacket and a tube top, revealing her chest and belly. Her hooded jacket is colored grey with black trimming on the outside and red on the inside, and the hood is designed similar to rat’s head, having his ears, nose, and white whiskers. On the back is a broken heart design with red and yellow coloring beside each of the crack's sides and black crossbones under the heart. The similar design can also be found divided by the bottom front of her jacket. Her tube top is black that has crossing strings in the middle. The same heart design on her jacket can be found on the middle of the tube top with the heart being divided by the strings. She also had grey, baggy pants with strings and is colored black on the waistline. On her feet are dark grey combat boots with a white welt and black strings.
The cameraman was actually some gray mouse with an appearance identical to Linda’s jacket, it had red eyes, on his chest was a heart with a cracked line through the center, part of the heart was red and part was yellow, as well as small red bat wings on the back and red and yellow socks on his feet.
“How we got stuck with the puny Candidate is really a load of crap” the rat groaned as he and Linda walked off.
“Tell me bout it. I still remember all the heck she put me through a lot of hell back during that whole mind control thing a few years ago,” Linda groaned.
“Can we start to dump off monsters into those forts?” Pirachu asked.
“Yes now, you imbecile! We hid them in the cameras, remember? Though, I was smart enough to not hide one in our camera because I don’t want monsters attacking us and ruining the fort of that little wench. It’s better to attack the worthwhile forts,” Linda smirked.

Vert had arrived at Nepgear’s fort and simply examined it personally when screaming came from outside.
“Ara?” Vert blinked.
Nepgear turned to see the kaijin forming, being mainly Dogoos and Ms. Pinkies.
“Man… not this again. Everytime something fun is happening, baddies show up. And it’s a limited number of them,” Neptune groaned as she summoned her katana, “Ikuze, Nepgear, Vert!”
“Hai, Onee-chan!” Nepgear smiled as she ran over and summoned her beam sword.
Vert smiled as she called forth her spear.
“Been a little while, since I used this thing/”
“First time in a while you’ve appeared and you’re fighting,” Neptune smiled.
“She’s right about one thing,” IF stated as she and Compa ran forward, summoning their own weapons and striking down some Dogoos, “We haven’t seen you around much, Lady Vert. Whatcha been up to?”
“Oh, nothing much. Just a few secret projects; if I say what they are now, that’d ruin the fun, wouldn’t it?” Vert winked. She stabbed a few Ms. Pinkies and Dogoos with ease, shattering them into pixels.
“Gotcha, gotcha. Now then, let’s clean house! Cross Combination!” Neptune announced as she ran forward and struck rapidly.
“Nice!” Vert smiled.
“Here I go!” Compa smirked as she charged up her syringe, spun around a few times, but tripped and fired up a blast of energy into the air. The blast formed into a heart with a ‘C’ in the center, and then it rained down onto several of the enemies, “...whoops?”
IF smiled a bit as the blasts still managed to destroy plenty of the enemies. She slashed a few herself, each one being sliced apart like a hot knife through butter.
“Shall we finish this as a team, Ge-Ge?” Vert asked Nepgear.
“Hey… only Compa can call me that…” Nepgear stated.
“Sorry.”
Regardless, the two girls charged in, slashing at the remaining enemies rapidly until not a single one remained.
“Hey… where did they come from?” Nepgear asked.
“Can I take a guess?” Neptune inquired.
“...I may regret saying this, but… go ahead,” IF sighed.
“Well perhaps some enemies infiltrated the ranks of the news crew and somehow set up enemy disks. And now that we’re all out in the open, the disks will activate and start to hurt people,” Neptune suggested.
“...that actually makes sense.” IF admitted, “I think you’re onto somethin’ Nep,”
“Well… should we go for this or what?”
With that, Neptune quickly took out her cellphone and dialed up Noire.

“Where do you think these monsters came from?” Uni inquired as she blasted some Dogoos away from her damaged fort.
“Well... I don’t know, Uni-chan. Maybe something snuck enemy disks nearby?” Noire shrugged as she slashed the Dogoos and some other blue slimes that had black tops and a strange expression that was rather smug.
Noire smirked as she sliced the enemies into pixels when suddenly…
(Phone Ringtone: Quartz Quadrant Present (US) Sonic CD)
“...Onee-chan, what’s that?” Uni asked.
“Huh?” Noire responded before pulling out her phone, “...uh… I need to take this,”
“Okay,” Uni nodded, sitting aside as Noire answered the call.
“What is it Neptune?!”
-...how’d you know it was me?-
“I have your phone set to a Sonic song, figured it would be you. Now what do you want?”
-There are Enemy Disks in the camera! You need to--
“Already taken care of. I saw them long before you called and me and Uni beat them already.”
-So, I guess Lady Lonely Heart has figured out who is behind all this?-
“Yes, I have, and don’t call, me that! Some villains infiltrated the camera crew and they called on some monsters. I think we need to get to Lowee, fast!”
-What about the monsters that are already here? They could come back!-
“Already handled. But… you raise a point that they could come back if we aren’t here…” Noire admitted, “...why don’t we send Uni and Nepgear to Lowee?”
-Well… okay, I guess. I’ll tell Nepgear to meet Uni at Rom and Ram’s.-

“...do you think I made a good fort?” Rom inquired.
“Of course I do,” Blanc smiled as she patted Rom.
“So, the results are on their way… but no sign of the camera crew at all…” Naja told the three.
“I see…” Blanc nodded.
Suddenly, the camera that was set in Ram’s fort exploded and the Dogoos flew out en masse.
Blanc summoned her hammer, quickly smashing Dogoos quickly, but she saw they just kept on charging.
“Tanzerin Trombe!” she shouted, spinning her hammer around fast while mashing the Dogoos and then slamming the hammer down onto them hard, “Tch… what a pain…”
Nepgear and Uni hurried on over and managed to see the bits of data that remained of the Dogoos.
“Huh… that’s quite the mess.” Nepgear stated.
“Grr… I can’t believe that these damn idiots beat them already…” Linda growled.
“Me too, chump,” the rat sighed when...
“Pirachu? And Underling!” Nepgear gawked, making the two return a look to her.
“So, looks like you still remember us,” Pirachu smiled.
“What a pain… and then you idiots still don’t remember my damn name!” Underling growled.
“Whatever. Look, can we get this fight over with, we have a contest to see the end results of,” Uni sighed as she readied her HDD Disk.

“Right. Ikuze, Uni-chan! Rom-chan! Ram-chan!” Nepgear told them.
“Hai,” they nodded as they all helped out their HDD Disks.
“Hard Drive Divinity Candidate Henshin!”
Nepgear was then surrounded by rings of data before they shattered, followed by her clothes vanishing in a manner similar to Neptune’s. Her hair grew a bit longer and some shades lighter as her gloves, boots, then main armor appeared, finishing with the wings.
Uni started by spreading her arms out before winking at the camera and then, transformed with her suit being similar to Noire’s, her hair turning white, yet styling itself into two curls. She smirked and then summoned her gun to her side, ready for action.
Then, Ram and Rom stood, their normal outfits vanishing before they posed, gaining the white and pink suits of their HDD forms, along with their respective staves, hair color, and eye color. The two gave a sort of hug, gaining their wings before posing, ready for combat.
“Don’t underestimate us,” Purple Sister said with a smirk.
“We’ll make sure you regret messing with us… again!” Black Sister added.
“You will fail before us!” the White Sisters finished in unison.
Thus, they moved in to attack. Underling and Pirachu began to move around to avoid them, but Black Sister got her gun ready for an attack.
“Atata (Hit home)! Atata! Atata!” she shouted as she fired, the blasts hitting and stunning them.
“...stun shots…” Pirachu gulped.
“Ready girls?” Purple Sister asked.
“Signature quad attack?” Black Sister said with a smile.
“Hai,”
With that, the girls started with Purple Sister flying forward and delivering a horizontal slash to Underling and Pirachu before firing behind her to knock them into the sky. Black Sister followed this up by shooting several bullets to the two as the White Sisters fired giant icicles at them, freezing them in place.
“Bring forth the coup de grace, Nepgear!” Black Sister shouted as Purple Sister flew high up into the sky
“Hai! Multiple Beam Launcher… FIRE!” Nepgear shouted as she fired a HUGE beam at the ice, shattering it and causing Underling and Pirachu to go flying, screaming before they disappeared in a sparkle of light.
“Yatta!” White Sister (Rom) cheered.
“We did it!” White Sister (Ram) smiled happily.

Soon, the monsters that were in the enemy disks hidden in the cameras had been taken out and the news crew saw that the forts made by Nepgear, Uni and Ram had sustained damage due to the attack, and they had to calculate the damage.
“Well, who won? I know it’s my fort, ‘cause I had the best designed!” Ram smirked.
“Puh-lease! I had the most floors and that means I had versatility! And the decency to not have pies thrown at the camera crew!” Uni stated smugly.
“Um… could we please not keep the kind miss from telling us the results?” Nepgear stated.
“Ano… well, due to the damages caused by the monsters… the best fort has to be… Rom’s,” Naja told the four girls.
“WHAT?!” Ram and Uni gawked as Rom was handed a ribbon saying ‘winner’.
“...I like ribbons,” Rom smiled.

“How could we lose to a BLANKET fort?!?!” Ram growled as the CPU and the Candidates had returned to the house of the Lowee CPUs.
“Well, sometimes it goes to show while big, shiny and new are nice at times, keeping things simple and classic are also nice,” Nepgear smiled.
“Ano… minna?” Rom blinked, “Do you… wanna… come into my fort?”
“Sure,” Nepgear smiled, Uni and Ram sighing before they followed suit.
After a few minutes, the four girls began to enjoy themselves, feeling happy as ever as they just sat and talked and after a bit, began to play a game of pretend.
“More tea?” Rom offered, pretending to hold up a tea kettle.
“Sure,” Nepgear giggled, handing her her cup before she ‘sipped it’, “So nice,”
Uni and Ram couldn’t help but giggle at this as they played along.
“You know… while competing is fun at times, let’s always remember that playing with each-other is just as needed so we can grow and become closer friends.” Nepgear smiled, as she looked to her friends
The Candidates giggled for a bit, before they all continued to play.
“Hey, wanna see if Onee-chan wants to join?” Ram asked.
“...let me ask,” Rom informed as she poked her head out the covers.
At the moment, Blanc was sitting down on the ground by a small table with a heavy blanket on top of it.
“Hey, hey hey hey hey hey hey… HEY~!” Neptune stated, poking Blanc in her shoulder as she read.
“...what?” Blanc stated in an annoyed tone.
“What’s this thingy?” Neptune inquired.
“Oh? Well, it is called a ‘kotatsu’, a small table covered by a heavy blanket with a heat source under it. I actually made this one myself,” Blanc smiled.
“You kidding me? I could do better than that,” Noire scoffed, making Blanc’s eyes twitch.
“What was that? I spent almost a week building this thing to perfection! I highly doubt you’d understand how to make a proper kotatsu!” Blanc snapped.
“Forgive me for saying this, but yours is… well,”
“If you dare say that word…”
“S-M-A-L-L!” Vert spelt out.
“WHY YOU…!!!” Blanc growled before she smirked, “That’s it! We’re going to compete to see who can make the best kotatsu! The Great Kotatsu-Off!” Blanc smirked.
Rom scooted back into her fort and turned to the other three CPU Candidates.
“Well?” Ram asked.
“They wanna join us?” Nepgear inquired.
“They’re… busy,” Rom informed.
“Oh… okay,” the Candidates shrugged as they continued their teaparty...

*As the ending instrumental began, we see the girls appear, starting with Neptune and Nepgear in their respective HDD forms, initially looking like holograms before they became solid, and started dancing, slowly joined by the other girls.*

*Neptune took IF and Compa by their wrists, and they ran off to Compa’s house, with Neptune recalling how she met Compa.*

*Neptune stood with Blanc, Noire and Vert, before the four looked over their four landmasses with smiles*

*Neptune slipped down from something, but before she could fall to the ground, Nepgear caught her, and she was aided by the other CPUs and the CPU Candidates.*

*Neptune and Nepgear were then shown in their room back at home, both of them playing a videogame, with Histoire watching them goof off from behind a corner. Histoire looked at a picture in her tome, and then at the two girls.*

*Purple Heart stood before the night sky, holding her sword. She looked at it and sighed, seeing there were many enemies before her.*

*Purple Heart then flew forward to fight them. She then looked and saw that they were all dead already. She looked up to see Green Heart, Black Heart, White Heart and Purple Sister there, they waved and smiled at her.*

*Purple Heart giggled and smiled at her friends.*

*At a cliff, stood several figures that were silhouettes, several of them female,and some of them male. They all looked at Neptune playing around in a park, and they smiled at her.*

*Neptune and Nepgear began to dance together, before it cut to show them being asleep at home. It then cut to them working in the office part of their home, Neptune being less than thrilled at this.*

*Neptune looked at a picture sitting at the side of her desk, which was of herself, Nepgear, IF and Compa smiling.*

*She giggled and the camera focused at this as the song came to it’s end, finishing off with the girls dancing from the start of this ending sequence, ending with their hands together, the spaces forming hearts.*

Episode 8: A Black and Purple Sleep-Over
Neptune & Nepgear (narrating): Keep calm and game on!
The door to the living room opened up and Rom walked over to her sister, “Uh… Onee-chan, do we have any spare pillows?”
“Yea, they’re in the guest room, second door to the right. I have a couple, so take as many as you need,” Blanc told Rom.
“Thank you,” Rom smiled as she walked off, took some pillows, and then walked back into the living room. After a moment, Rom walked back in, “Uh… Onee-chan, do we have any spare blankets?”
“Store room. Fourth door to the right of the bathroom,” Blanc answered.
“Thank you,” Rom smiled as she walked off to go and get them. She dragged them into the living room and then walked back into the library again, “Uh… Onee-chan, do you have any sort of spare like… uh… noteboards that you… hang on walls?”
“Yea. Second door to the left,” Blanc informed.
“Thank you,” Rom smiled as she walked off and got at least one or two and took them back into the living room with her, she then walked back in again, “Uh… Onee-chan, do we have any spare chairs?”
“Yep. Store room,” Blanc told her sister.
“Thank you,” Rom smiled as she walked back to the store room and got them, dragging at least three chairs back into the living room with her. She walked back in and over to her sister, “Uh… Onee-chan, do you have any books on forts?”
“Forts? Yea, yea I do. I’m actually reorganizing the ‘f’s right now. Hang on I’ll look for one,” Blanc told her sister, guiding the ladder on wheels she was using over to the ‘f-r’s and she began to search for a book on forts, “Hmm… no, no… no… ‘f-o-r’... ‘f-o-r’. Oh. Here we are,”
She took the book and climbed down to hand it to Rom.
“Here you go sis,” Blanc told her.
“Thank you,” Rom smiled again as she walked back into the living room.
Before Blanc climbed back up, she thought about everything Rom had asked her for and gave a sigh as she got off the ladder and walked into the living room, seeing a small section of it was being turned into a fort.
“Rom, what are you doing?” Blanc inquired.
“Oh… I uh… uh… I… wanted to… build a fort,” Rom informed nervously, twiddling her fingers.
“...okay,” Blanc shrugged, “Just… don’t take up all of the living room, we need it for things,”
“I won’t,” Rom assured as she got back under the blanket she was using as a roof.

*Vert sat at a table, drinking a tea, and a girl wearing green sitting next to her and the girl was actually Nepgear, who simply tried to drink the tea before she gave an awkward look at Vert.*

*Neptune held out a purple disc, Noire a black disc, Blanc a white one, and Vert a green one before they absorbed them.*

*Then, we see scenes of the girls transforming (them all being colored black but highlighted in different colors), their clothes shattering into pixels, their hair growing and changing color before adjusting, wings sprouting, new suits forming, before finishing off with a victorious pose as they revealed their CPU forms.*

*Purple Heart flew off, followed by Green Heart, Black Heart, and White Heart before they are seen fighting Arfoire’s forces, each with their own weapon before turning to see Arfoire, Rei, Underling and Pirachu. In the background watching, a few girls watched the battle, but they are all silhouetted out.*

*Neptune and Nepgear ran forward, quickly meeting up with their friends at a park, Compa and IF both smiled at the sisters, happily joining the two.*

Chapter 7: The Great Fort-Off</u>

Rom was still working on her little fort, with Blanc having finished reorganizing and watching as Rom did her work.
“Ick… what’s that lump over there?” Ram inquired of Blanc as she walked over.
“What lump?” Blanc responded.
“That thing over in the corner,” Ram clarified, pointing to the fort in progress.
“That’s probably Rom’s fort,” Blanc informed.
Ram stared at the fort being built before rolling her eyes and walking off, while Blanc simply sat down and saw it being progressively built. However, when she began to hear construction working sounds, she got a bit nervous.
She heard a hammering sound.
“...Rom? I thought you were making a fort with blankets and pillows… not with actual tools like that,” Blanc asked nervously.
She then heard a saw sound.
“...R-Rom? Be-be careful…” Blanc said in concern.
There was a jackhammering sound.
“Okay, that’s it!” Blanc said in worry as she walked over and pulled up the blanket, “Rom, what in the world are you doing in there with… those… tools?”
However, she looked and saw Rom had no tools with her.
“...okay, where were all of those sounds coming from?” Blanc inquired.
“Oh? You heard that… s-s-sorry…” Rom apologized, “...I just… used a sound app on my phone… as… motivation, of a sort. I didn’t mean to scare you…”
“...Oh… well… just… lower the volume,” Blanc told Rom, who nodded and did so, “...you mind me peeking?”
“...okay,” Rom nodded, as she guided her sister inside, “It’s still a work in progress, but… this is my blanket fort.”
Blanc looked around and saw various pillows were set up by some sections of the corner, chairs were being used to keep the blankets up, and there were some toys from Rom’s room inside of it.
“Over there is the kitchen,” Rom pointed, showing a small part with a few snacks and a tiny table from a playset in her room.
“Over there is the media room,” she added, showing a small DVD player with a Gamecube and a Wii U plugged into it, along with a 3DS nearby charging up.
“Over there is the sitting room,” Rom stated next, showing a small part that didn’t have anything there next to a one of those boards you’d see people put pictures and notes on with thumbtacks.
“And lastly… the bedroom,” Rom concluded, pointing to a few pillows and blankets set up, “So… uh… it’s not finished but… wh-what d-d-do you think of it?”
“It’s… rather cute,” Blanc smiled, “You really planned this out. But… why is there a bedroom in here, mind my asking?”
“...just as a… home away from home,” Rom responded.
“...you’re still in our home,” Blanc pointed out.
“I know,” Rom nodded.
“Well… have fun finishing it, I hope to be invited into your little blanket fort when you finish it,” Blanc smiled as she headed out.
“Oh, Onee-chan… I’m gonna have a password for entry,” Rom informed.
“Okay then… so, what’s the password going to be?” Blanc asked.
Rom motioned for Blanc to come in close, and Blanc nodded upon hearing the password.

“Yo yo yo readers!” Neptune smiled, winking at the camera, “This is the CPU of Planeptune, Purple Heart here!”
“Onee-chan, what’s going on?” Nepgear asked as she walked in, currently in her pajamas.
“So that’s the younger sister?” somebody asked Neptune.
“That’d be correct. She was up late playing a video game that recently released,” Neptune informed.
“That’s sounds more like something you’d do Lady Purple Heart,” the interviewer stated.
“That was so funny I forgot to laugh. At least I woke up and tried to make myself look decent for this interview,” Neptune stated.
“That’s good to know. So… there have been rumors going around Planeptune that I wish to ask if it’s true or not,” the interviewer began, “Is it true you are having a romantic affair with CPU Black Heart?”
“Uh… w-well… no,” Neptune stated.
“You hesitated, why was that?”
“I… I uh…”
“Isn’t there rumors that Purple Sister is having a romantic affair with another CPU Candidate?” the person holding the camera inquired.
“Uh… I think so,” Neptune shrugged, desperately looking for a way to get the camera off of herself, “Um… c-can we please not talk about romance?”
“So… what’s up with Compa and IF? Your two sidekicks?”
“They aren’t my sidekicks…” Neptune informed as she saw Nepgear start to eat breakfast, “Hey! There’s my sister! Talk to her a bit!”
Nepgear just ignored the cameras and ate her bowl of chocolate Ganbare Clovers. She didn’t really seem to care that the camera crews were watching her as she smiled while eating.
“So, Candidate Purple Sister, how are you this morning?” somebody asked Nepgear.

“Onee-chan, lookie here, Neptune and Nepgear are on TV!” Ram told Blanc, making her look at the screen and see Nepgear on the screen.
-...tired.- Nepgear said on TV as she ate.
-Interesting… very interesting. So, is it true there’s a romantic affair going on with you and another CPU Candidate?-
“...romantic affair?” Ram asked Blanc in confusion.
“It basically means that someone is in love with another person. It’s basically a fancy way to say ‘are you in a relationship’.” Blanc explained.
Rom poked her head out from her blanket fort upon hearing this.
-...So… why do you care?- Nepgear retorted, -What’s my business is mine, I’d never tell anybody I don’t trust if I loved somebody…-

“...you two are boring, you know that?” the interviewer groaned.
“...Onee-chan, can you make them leave so that we can please just enjoy this morning?” Nepgear asked as she continued to eat her breakfast
“Can’t. I promised them one full day with us both…”
“Mou…” Nepgear groaned as she thunked her head into her cereal bowl by accident.
“Ano… Nep Jr., you got-”
“Not in the mood,”
Histoire floated on in and over to the coffee machine, managing to get herself a cup and she began to pour in a decaf, but the machine didn’t work for a moment.
“So that’s the oracle who actually does all the work?” the interviewer asked, scaring Histoire into accidentally knocking her cup out of the maker and getting coffee poured onto her.
“Who are you?! What are you doing here?!” Histoire demanded.
“Oh, we’re here because Lady Purple Heart said we would do an entire day with you all,” the intervierwer informed.
“...Neptune, a word please?” Histoire asked in anger.

“Why. Did. You agree to a full day with cameras?!” Histoire demanded to know as Neptune was standing with her in a private room.
“...Well, I wanted to show folks what a good CPU I am,” Neptune admitted.
“Well you could’ve done that by doing your job Neptune!”
“But that’s boring. I wanted to have a bit of fun while doing so!”
Histoire groaned a bit, hovering back as she held out her coffee cup, “Just get me my coffee and a towel, I’m lucky none of my pages got wet…”
Neptune nodded as she hurried off to do so. Histoire just sighed as Neptune came back with the towel.

Back with Blanc, the three CPUs were all laughing at how Neptune was acting like her usual goofy self.
-Hey Nepgear-chan, what’re you doing with that honey?- Neptune asked.
-Making a honey and jelly sandwich.-
-Honey and Jelly?-
-I’m allergic to peanuts, remember?-
-Oh, okay.-
Nepgear began to eat, happily preparing her sandwich before Neptune got out jalapenos and slipping it into Nepgear’s sandwich when she wasn’t looking. The CPU candidate smiled as she ate it before her face looked like it was turning red from the spice.
-Ah~... JALAPENO!!!!- she screamed.
Ram began to laugh, Blanc attempted to stifle her laughter, but Rom didn’t find it funny at all as Nepgear rushed around looking for something to cool her mouth and ended up getting some milk from what was left of her breakfast.
“HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Ram laughed.
“Ram… that wasn’t very funny,” Rom said in a frustrated tone, Blanc realizing this before she covered up Ram’s mouth.

Nepgear stormed out of the house to try and get away from the camera crew for a little while. She was so annoyed by what Neptune did as she chugged down some whole milk to cool her mouth, and at the moment, wanted nothing to do with her big sister. She just stormed away before sitting down under a nearby tree and trying to relax.
She then heard her phone chirp a bit, before picking it up and seeing a text.
-Saw u on TV. U ok?- Rom asked via a text.
“Aww… that’s really sweet of her…” Nepgear said quietly as she typed out a response.
-Been better.-
-Hope you’re recovering ok. Wanna come over to my house?-
Nepgear blushed a tiny bit, smiling before she responded.
-Sure. : ) See u soon. ; )-
“Hey Nep Jr.,” Neptune smiled as she walked on over, “Sorry about that little prank.”
“It’s fine… I guess,” Nepgear shrugged, “Anyway… I’m off to Rom and Ram’s for a bit,”
“I’m gonna come with you. We need a little sis-to-sis talk before the plot goes on,”
“Uh… okay? Let’s get going,” Nepgear groaned.

Neptune, Nepgear and the camera crew arrived at Blanc’s home, all of them currently relaxing a bit.
“Neptune… why is the camera crew here?” Blanc inquired.
“Simple, we still need a couple more hours of footage and Nepgear was heading over here anyway, plot said so,” Neptune informed.
“You know Nepgear, I will not understand your older sister sometimes…” Uni informed as she walked on over.
“Uni-chan?” Nepgear blinked, “When’d you get here?”
“I was here since maybe five minutes ago? Onee-chan sent me here because she said I was bothering her… a shame, too. I was finished with my work and she promised once that happened I’d get to play a recently finished demo of Kingdom Hearts 3…”
“Ah… Candidate Black Sister,” the interviewer smiled, “Uni… uh… that’s a bit of an odd name... no offense. Heard some people around Lastation call you ‘Blister’.”
“..Blister?”
“Short for Black Sister,”
“Ok… that’s an… odd nickname,” Uni admitted, shrugging.
“Well I just heard some people around Lastation call you that,” the interviewer shrugged. She then saw Rom’s blanket fort, “What’s that?”
“Oh that? It’s something my sister’s been working on for a while,” Ram informed as Rom walked in with plastic toy tools.
“...really?” Blanc giggled.
“You said it was okay,” Rom informed as she got back into the fort and then got to work ‘building’.
“...that’s kinda cute,” the cameraman admitted.
Suddenly, there was a hammering sound going off rather loudly.
“Oh… uh Rom, your sound thing,” Blanc informed
“Whoops, sorry,” Rom apologized as she turned down her phone.
“...why do I get the feeling Lady White Heart heard that earlier and thought she was using real tools?” the interviewer stated.
Neptune just chose to not say a word at this, knowing Blanc would indeed have reacted like that.
“So… how long has she been working on that fort?” the interviewer asked.
“A chapter,” Neptune answered.
“...about two to three days,” Blanc translated as the interviewer nodded.
Uni, Ram and Nepgear walked over to the fort and Ram knocked on a lid container that Rom had brought in. Rom moved a towel out of the way and showed her eyes.
“What’s the password?” Rom inquired.
“...password?” Ram blinked.
“No,” Rom responded as she moved the towel back in place.
“Hey!” Ram snapped, knocking on the lid again.
“What’s the password?”
“...Kirby’s Epic Yarn is the best Kirby game?”
“Nope. But that is a true statement,” Rom responded.
“I got this,” Blanc stated as she walked over.
“What’s the password?”
Blanc got in close and whispered it to Rom.
“That is correct. Come on in,” Rom replied, opening the door for Blanc.
“And this would be for them,” Blanc informed as she motioned for the other three Candidates to walk in, which they did, allowing Rom to show the fort to her sister and the other two Candidates.
“So… this is my fort,” Rom informed.
“Looks nice,” Nepgear smiled as Rom showed them around. The blonde in blue hid her blush behind her cap, explaining the different sections of the fort.
After she showed them the game area, Uni gave a small eye roll.
“This place is… nice…” Uni shrugged, “But perhaps you could add a few posters or something over on that poster board… maybe a few extra snacks over in the snack corner… but honestly, I think I could do a much better job making a fort.”
“Uni, don’t insult her. That’s really mean!” Nepgear told her, a glare on her face.
“...Sorry,” Uni apologized.
“Doesn’t it get warm in here?” Ram asked.
“I have a fan,” Rom said, pointing to a floor fan.
“Oh…” Ram blinked.
“I think this looks really nice Rom-chan. It’s very neat,” Nepgear smiled as they got out.
“So Blanc, Neptune, questions.” the interviewer informed, “Neptune, how did you react to the Penders mess in the Archie Comics? And Blanc, why hasn’t there been a Mario cartoon since 1991?”
“Penders is nothing but a money-grubbing character stealing jerk! I didn’t mind it much at first, but since he was forced to have Archie retcon the entire Sonic universe with the removal of characters claimed to create… that was just absurd, but him going as far as to claim Knuckles as his own just because he created Knuckles’ comic costume!? Not cool,” Neptune informed, a look of disgust coloring her face.
“I just fail to see a point in making a new one,” Blanc admitted.
“Even with Sonic Boom, Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures and the new upcoming Megaman cartoon?” Ram asked.
“...Yes. And don’t get me started on making a movie about the Mario Bros. After the last flop, there’s no way I’m going to attempt another live-action videogame movie; if you want that craze to really take off, you’ll need to look elsewhere before I can really make it right,” Blanc informed.
“Ano… Onee-chan… Uni made fun of my fort by saying she could make a better one,” Rom told Blanc.
“Ugh… Uni, why?”
“I’m just saying, I think I could do a bit better,” Uni admitted.
“Is this a challenge?!” the interviewer asked, “Is there going to be some sort of a fort making contest between the CPU Candidates?!”
Ram took the microphone and smirked a bit, “You bet there is! Starting today and ending… next week on Friday, the CPU Candidates will be having the… the uh… the uh… Great Fort Off!”
“Oh no… Ram-chan…” Rom mumbled.

-Neptune, Nepgear. We just saw the news about this Great Fort Off. Are you all seriously going to have a fort building contest?- Compa inquired.
“Well… to be honest, I don’t know…” Neptune admitted, “Ram just made this declaration all of a sudden. Next thing you know, Uni and Ram are scurrying to build their own forts while Nep Jr.… is here with me.”
-Well… people are taking this very seriously Nep.- IF informed, -Everyone is already divided between who should win and who should lose. Vert’s already losing a bit of shares since… well, she doesn’t have a sister.-
“Okay. So what do you expect me to do?”
-...I hate to say this, but… have Nepgear compete.- IF sighed.
“WHAT?! Why? She doesn’t want to compete because she’d be against her little girlfriend.”
“...excuse me?” Nepgear growled.
-As much as I agree with Nepgear finding this pointless, in order to keep our shares from dwindling like Vert’s, we need to have her compete against the other candidates. We don’t really have much of a choice in the matter. Have Nepgear get back here ASAP.-
“Alright…” Neptune sighed, “Nep Jr. You need to compete.”
Nepgear sighed sadly, regrettably agreeing to do so.

About an hour later, Uni had returned to Lastation and begun to order some metal for her fort. She was already constructing plans for the fort as Noire heard about the contest, but didn’t really seem to care as she was on the phone.
“...I know Disney wants Frozen… Look, I already had Tangled announced in there, but I don’t plan on having Frozen right away. We are including more original worlds, but we’re not just gonna jump into the big hits like that. I’m still working in movies from the 90s to the 2000s, including Atlantis and Emperor’s New Groove. No, Wreck-It Ralph won’t have his new world! Getting licenses from other companies to make his world proper would be a nightmare, and I’m not only gonna focus on Sugar Rush, because it would be unfair. At most, Ralph will be a summon. ...no, I don’t care how much they’re gonna pay for Frozen. Yes! I’m serious! And before they bring them up, the same thing applies for Marvel, Lucasfilms, AND the Jim Henson Company/The Muppet Studios properties; we will save those as possible ideas for Kingdom Hearts 4 and games AFTER 3! ...Big Hero 6? Well… maybe… we’ll consider that for now,” she told the guys on the other end of the line as Uni walked in.
“Hey Onee-chan, where’s the rivets?” Uni asked.
“One second, Nomura-san,” Noire sighed, holding her hand over the phone, “Why do you need to know now, Uni? I’m busy discussing Kingdom Hearts with Nomura.”
“Fort contest,” Uni reminded.
Noire gave an annoyed groan, pointing to where the rivets were.
“Thank you,” Uni smiled as she proceeded to pick them up.
“Sorry about that. So… where were we?” Noire asked as she got back to the conversation, “...ugh. I still don’t care how much they’ll pay for Frozen. Plus, I want to at least TRY and start getting Disney/Pixar Movies in. I hated how we had to remove the Toy Story themed summons from Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix. Again, let us focus on the Disney-owned properties with the exception of Pixar films. Yes, that includes The Incredibles, Cars, Ratatouille, Wall-E, Up, and especially Toy Story; if they want to market any Kingdom Hearts toys, I would think that’d be the best way to go rather than pull the same schpeel the stupid Toys for Bob group pulled with their reboot/spin-off of my favorite dragon! Got it, Nomura-san?! ...G-Gomen… there’s been a lot of hype from the fans, they’ve been waiting for this game for years, and you held it off for a long time due to other projects like Final Fantasy. ...we’ll see about any more Final Fantasy characters, I don’t know yet! ...Inside Out? Hmm… that could be interesting… let me think about it.”

Uni got herself attached to a harness and got to work nailing bolts in, smirking as she worked hard.
“Okay then, I just have to bolt these in and get the wall up,” Uni muttered as she got to work putting the rivets in.

Ram got to work on her fort outside, having some carpenters aid her in making a fort that would both be on the ground and part treehouse.
“That’s it! Make that bridge happen!” Ram shouted into a megaphone.
The workers saluted as they managed to get to work harnessing the bridge. It was soon put into place as others continued work on the ground frame.

“Do we have any larger boxes?” Nepgear inquired as she rolled some boxes out into the front yard.
“We’ve got some,” Neptune informed as she rolled some boxes in.
“Thank you, Onee-chan,” Nepgear smiled as she began to glue some boxes.

Rom at the moment… was currently not doing anything as she was resting in her fort, playing Yoshi’s Woolly World, trying to get her mind off of the Great Fort Off.

Later, Vert was looking at the share ratings, shocked by how much her shares dropped.
“Well… I suppose this was to be expected with me not having a little sister,” Vert sighed.
“Bit of a bummer your most recent appearance is a sad time,” Neptune stated as she suddenly appeared behind Vert.
“AGH!” Vert gawked, making Neptune wave, “...how’d you get here?”
“You left your door open,” Neptune informed.
“Oh… right…” Vert sighed.
“Gonna go now. See you later,” Neptune waved as she skipped on out.
Vert sighed as she got back to work tracking the shares.

Back in Lastation, Uni was now working on the second floor of her fort, the first having been completed and was being filled with some nicknacks.
“Okay, now to get onto the other eight floors after the second is finished, and I’ll win the Fort-Off!” Uni announced as she put the last rivet into the second floor’s structer.

“How we doin’?” Ram asked as the bottom floor was now fully attached to the treehouse floor.
“Pretty good ma’am,” a worker informed, “We just finished connecting the floors and we’re now building into the tree,”
“Great!”

“How’s it goin’ Ge-Ge?” Compa inquired.
“Well… uh… good” Nepgear answered, showing her fort actually had various rooms at the moment and was very wide.
“Wow… I never expected you to do this much in only a couple of hours…” Compa gawked.
“...I want to do good, but I really don’t want Rom-chan to feel bad, so I only made it look passable…” Nepgear informed.
“Passable? Nepgear, I gotta say that your fort looks really impressive! You’ve managed to make almost two floors and 5 fully furnished rooms… you’re gonna win with ease!” IF smiled.
“...I don’t want to win,” Nepgear muttered as she walked into her fort.
“Why not? At the very least, you could tie with Rom and not make her upset,” IF informed.
Nepgear smiled, nodding in agreement, “I guess I could try and tie…”

Rom still didn’t do much of anything to change her blanket fort, only took some of the suggestions to add posters and extra snacks.
“...I’m tired,” she yawned as she walked over to the bedroom area of her fort. Afterwards, she fell asleep and felt relaxed as Kirby’s Epic Yarn music played from her phone.

At the same time, the others were hard at work at their forts over the course of a montage. By week’s end, they managed to finish them, with Uni’s and Ram’s being the most outrageous, Nepgear’s being middle of the road, while Rom’s remained mostly unchanged.

“Ano… Onee-chan…” Rom whispered the night before the fort judging.
“Hmm? ...what is it Rom?” Blanc inquired, waking up.
“Can I talk to you about this contest a bit?” Rom asked, “...I’m nervous about it…”
Blanc motioned for Rom to sit by her, which Rom did, sitting next to Blanc.
“I… I don’t want to win… but I don’t want to lose. I… I honestly didn’t want this contest to even start,” Rom sighed, “I’m nervous because… well, everyone’s expecting us to have made grand forts… I didn’t want to change mine. I’m proud of my fort.”
“...you should be. That’s what makes the fort so special.” Blanc smiled, “...look, while, yes, competition is what drives Gamindustri, you don’t always have to compete. I don’t want you girls to end up going into a console war like me, Vert, Noire and Neptune did.”
“...arigato, Onee-chan. That really helped me feel better. Nighty-night,” Rom smiled as she headed for the door and off to her room.
“...don’t ever change,” Blanc smiled, “...heh, she’s a lot like Kitty, a good person when kept away from a bad influence, IE Ram for Rom and Lydia in the case of Pride and Prejudice.”
With that, Blanc yawned before going to sleep, feeling a bit easier as she slept.

“Well, today is the day,” Histoire noted as she turned on the TV.
“Histy… the video game stores are closed… as are the groceries and fast food places and… a lot of other stuff,” Neptune whined, “What’s going on?”
“I think all of Gamindustri is tuning into this contest. They’re all too focused on seeing who ended up winning,” Histoire pointed out as Neptune saw people were gathered around TVs all around Planeptune.

“Hello and welcome to the Gamindustri News! Today, everyone is all excited for the CPU Candidate Fort-Off announced by Ram last week. We begin in Lastation with the CPU Candidate Black Sister,” the announcer began as footage went live with a reporter next to Uni who smiled.
-Thank you, this is Hakashi Niraka with CPU Candidate Black Sister, AKA Uni. Uni, would you be so kind as to show us your fort?-
-I will. Behold the fort that holds pride of being a Lastation native!- Uni declared, pointing to her fort, which was painted silver and was ten stories tall, -Made out of a special Lastation metal, this fort is designed not only for relaxation, but also as a watch tower. As you can see, the roof has a telescope, allowing me to not only have a good view of the stars at night, but also make sure my fort is safe from attacks.-
She then guided the news crew inside, showing off every room and floor, pointing out that each floor was dedicated to one activity each. She also showed off the elevator she had installed was custom-built and custom-designed for a semi relaxation waiting room as it had a fridge.
-This is very nice. Now, we go back to our announcer back at the station,- Nirakara smiled.
“This is a very impressive fort by Candidate Black Sister. Now, we move onto Candidate Purple Sister, aka Nepgear, who appears to have created her fort out of cardboard boxes. We now go over to Miyamoro Takanura, to get an idea of how this fort works,” the announcer smiled.
-Thank you, Naja-chan. I’m right here in Planeptune, with Candidate Purple Sister. So, Nepgear, may I ask the meaning behind your simple fort and why it’s made of cardboard?- Takanura inquired of Nepgear, who motioned to her simple fort.
-Well… I just wanted to make a simple fort, as I was inspired by Rom-chan to make something simple.- Nepgear smiled as she pulled the door open, showing the fort was like a one-story home made of the simple stuff, -I made a few extra rooms. Otherwise, it’s almost the same as Rom’s, but I tried to give it a nice feel that just said ‘Nepgear’. So, I have a couple games by the TV over there, a small cooler for a kitchen, a sleeping bag in the bedroom and finally a little couch for a living room of a sort.-
-Soka…- Takanura nodded as she walked alongside Nepgear.
-Yea… sometimes, simple is best.-
-I suppose so… back to Naja-chan.-
“Thank you Takanura-san. Now, we go over to Satoshi in Lowee with CPU Candidate Ram, one half of the White Sisters. Satoshi?”
-Thanks, Naja-chan. As you said, I’m here with Ram and her ground floor and treehouse fort. So Ram, what made you go with the treehouse fort approach and make it part ground?- Satoshi asked, moving the mike to Ram.
-Well… I’d personally say go big or go home, and I go BIG!- Ram smirked as she motioned for the camera crew to follow. Ram showed them the ground floor, which was more or less the living room and a fortified base entrance. She then guided them up the stairs and to the treehouse level, which was the rest of the living space, having the luxuries of a modern house, having a bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, a fully fledged entertainment center and home arcade, -Like I said. I go big!-
-And what a very impressive fort!- Satoshi smiled as they saw an extra door. He curiously walked on over to it and opened it up.
-No! Don’t open that-- Ram shouted, but it was too late and pie was splattered on the cameramen and Satoshi, -Door… that’s my prank planning room.-
-...and back to Naja-chan…- Satoshi sighed.
“Whoa… that may knock off a couple points for not properly warning out crew. However, it’s time to see Candidate Rom’s fort. We go over to Bell Linda. Linda-san?”
-Why did I get stuck with this stupid brat?- she muttered, but was picked up by her microphone, -Well, now we’re here at the final fort of the Great Fort-Off of the Candidates, and… the second White Sister, Rom, doesn’t appear to have changed her fort since we saw her last week. What’s the dealio?-
-Well it’s because I like to keep things… simple.- Rom smiled, -But I can’t show it unless you smile a little bit.-
-What a little dope, chump,- the cameraman muttered.
-Shut it!- Linda told him.
-You shut it, chump! Why do I gotta be the cameraman?!-
-I said shut it you little jerk unless you wanna get a beat down of a li--
“Linda-san. Please, show some professionalism.” Naja requested.
-...sorry.- Linda sighed, sorta smiling before Rom moved part of the blankets aside to let them into her fort, -Huh… okay… it’s… uh… small.-
-Move it, you’re in my way!- the cameraman shouted to Linda.
-Well, this was only designed for kids…- Rom admitted.
Linda muttered something, trying to hide any further negative feelings.
-So… this is my fort.- Rom smiled, -One of the simplest of those in the Great Fort-Off, I’m sure. But… simple isn’t bad.-
-Says the squirt CPU Candidate.- Linda muttered, but the microphone picked her up.
“What was that?”
-Nothing.- Linda stated, rolling her eyes.
-So… this is the bedroom… this is the kitchen… this is the media room… and this is the sitting room,- Rom smiled, motioning around.
-What’s the point of a sitting room? Giving yourself a timeout or something stupid of a child like you?- Linda asked.
Rom teared up a little bit, feeling rather offended as Linda and the cameraman left.
-Thank goodness I’m done with that brat.- Linda muttered as she got out, only to be grabbed by her shirt collar by Blanc.
-What were you saying about my little sister, punk?!- Blanc snapped, making Linda gulp in fear.
“...uh… I uh, well…? We’ll be back with the results.”

Both Linda and her cameraman were bruised a bit before Blanc kicked them out of the place before taking the camera.
“Sorry about that, but you don’t mock my sisters and get away with that!” Blanc told them as she slammed the door.
“...can we take these disguises off now?” the cameraman asked.
“Yea, no point in wearing these damn things now that the job is over,” Linda stated as they walked behind a building and took off the disguises they were in. Linda was actually a light grey skinned girl with green hair, red eyes, and pointy ears. She wore a black choke collar on her neck, along gloves that reach through her wrists, and are black on the dorsal side and red on the palm, and has white zig-zag lines on the wrists. On the top, she had nothing but an opened, hooded jacket and a tube top, revealing her chest and belly. Her hooded jacket is colored grey with black trimming on the outside and red on the inside, and the hood is designed similar to rat’s head, having his ears, nose, and white whiskers. On the back is a broken heart design with red and yellow coloring beside each of the crack's sides and black crossbones under the heart. The similar design can also be found divided by the bottom front of her jacket. Her tube top is black that has crossing strings in the middle. The same heart design on her jacket can be found on the middle of the tube top with the heart being divided by the strings. She also had grey, baggy pants with strings and is colored black on the waistline. On her feet are dark grey combat boots with a white welt and black strings.
The cameraman was actually some gray mouse with an appearance identical to Linda’s jacket, it had red eyes, on his chest was a heart with a cracked line through the center, part of the heart was red and part was yellow, as well as small red bat wings on the back and red and yellow socks on his feet.
“How we got stuck with the puny Candidate is really a load of crap” the rat groaned as he and Linda walked off.
“Tell me bout it. I still remember all the heck she put me through a lot of hell back during that whole mind control thing a few years ago,” Linda groaned.
“Can we start to dump off monsters into those forts?” Pirachu asked.
“Yes now, you imbecile! We hid them in the cameras, remember? Though, I was smart enough to not hide one in our camera because I don’t want monsters attacking us and ruining the fort of that little wench. It’s better to attack the worthwhile forts,” Linda smirked.

Vert had arrived at Nepgear’s fort and simply examined it personally when screaming came from outside.
“Ara?” Vert blinked.
Nepgear turned to see the kaijin forming, being mainly Dogoos and Ms. Pinkies.
“Man… not this again. Everytime something fun is happening, baddies show up. And it’s a limited number of them,” Neptune groaned as she summoned her katana, “Ikuze, Nepgear, Vert!”
“Hai, Onee-chan!” Nepgear smiled as she ran over and summoned her beam sword.
Vert smiled as she called forth her spear.
“Been a little while, since I used this thing/”
“First time in a while you’ve appeared and you’re fighting,” Neptune smiled.
“She’s right about one thing,” IF stated as she and Compa ran forward, summoning their own weapons and striking down some Dogoos, “We haven’t seen you around much, Lady Vert. Whatcha been up to?”
“Oh, nothing much. Just a few secret projects; if I say what they are now, that’d ruin the fun, wouldn’t it?” Vert winked. She stabbed a few Ms. Pinkies and Dogoos with ease, shattering them into pixels.
“Gotcha, gotcha. Now then, let’s clean house! Cross Combination!” Neptune announced as she ran forward and struck rapidly.
“Nice!” Vert smiled.
“Here I go!” Compa smirked as she charged up her syringe, spun around a few times, but tripped and fired up a blast of energy into the air. The blast formed into a heart with a ‘C’ in the center, and then it rained down onto several of the enemies, “...whoops?”
IF smiled a bit as the blasts still managed to destroy plenty of the enemies. She slashed a few herself, each one being sliced apart like a hot knife through butter.
“Shall we finish this as a team, Ge-Ge?” Vert asked Nepgear.
“Hey… only Compa can call me that…” Nepgear stated.
“Sorry.”
Regardless, the two girls charged in, slashing at the remaining enemies rapidly until not a single one remained.
“Hey… where did they come from?” Nepgear asked.
“Can I take a guess?” Neptune inquired.
“...I may regret saying this, but… go ahead,” IF sighed.
“Well perhaps some enemies infiltrated the ranks of the news crew and somehow set up enemy disks. And now that we’re all out in the open, the disks will activate and start to hurt people,” Neptune suggested.
“...that actually makes sense.” IF admitted, “I think you’re onto somethin’ Nep,”
“Well… should we go for this or what?”
With that, Neptune quickly took out her cellphone and dialed up Noire.

“Where do you think these monsters came from?” Uni inquired as she blasted some Dogoos away from her damaged fort.
“Well... I don’t know, Uni-chan. Maybe something snuck enemy disks nearby?” Noire shrugged as she slashed the Dogoos and some other blue slimes that had black tops and a strange expression that was rather smug.
Noire smirked as she sliced the enemies into pixels when suddenly…
(Phone Ringtone: Quartz Quadrant Present (US) Sonic CD)
“...Onee-chan, what’s that?” Uni asked.
“Huh?” Noire responded before pulling out her phone, “...uh… I need to take this,”
“Okay,” Uni nodded, sitting aside as Noire answered the call.
“What is it Neptune?!”
-...how’d you know it was me?-
“I have your phone set to a Sonic song, figured it would be you. Now what do you want?”
-There are Enemy Disks in the camera! You need to--
“Already taken care of. I saw them long before you called and me and Uni beat them already.”
-So, I guess Lady Lonely Heart has figured out who is behind all this?-
“Yes, I have, and don’t call, me that! Some villains infiltrated the camera crew and they called on some monsters. I think we need to get to Lowee, fast!”
-What about the monsters that are already here? They could come back!-
“Already handled. But… you raise a point that they could come back if we aren’t here…” Noire admitted, “...why don’t we send Uni and Nepgear to Lowee?”
-Well… okay, I guess. I’ll tell Nepgear to meet Uni at Rom and Ram’s.-

“...do you think I made a good fort?” Rom inquired.
“Of course I do,” Blanc smiled as she patted Rom.
“So, the results are on their way… but no sign of the camera crew at all…” Naja told the three.
“I see…” Blanc nodded.
Suddenly, the camera that was set in Ram’s fort exploded and the Dogoos flew out en masse.
Blanc summoned her hammer, quickly smashing Dogoos quickly, but she saw they just kept on charging.
“Tanzerin Trombe!” she shouted, spinning her hammer around fast while mashing the Dogoos and then slamming the hammer down onto them hard, “Tch… what a pain…”
Nepgear and Uni hurried on over and managed to see the bits of data that remained of the Dogoos.
“Huh… that’s quite the mess.” Nepgear stated.
“Grr… I can’t believe that these damn idiots beat them already…” Linda growled.
“Me too, chump,” the rat sighed when...
“Pirachu? And Underling!” Nepgear gawked, making the two return a look to her.
“So, looks like you still remember us,” Pirachu smiled.
“What a pain… and then you idiots still don’t remember my damn name!” Underling growled.
“Whatever. Look, can we get this fight over with, we have a contest to see the end results of,” Uni sighed as she readied her HDD Disk.

“Right. Ikuze, Uni-chan! Rom-chan! Ram-chan!” Nepgear told them.
“Hai,” they nodded as they all helped out their HDD Disks.
“Hard Drive Divinity Candidate Henshin!”
Nepgear was then surrounded by rings of data before they shattered, followed by her clothes vanishing in a manner similar to Neptune’s. Her hair grew a bit longer and some shades lighter as her gloves, boots, then main armor appeared, finishing with the wings.
Uni started by spreading her arms out before winking at the camera and then, transformed with her suit being similar to Noire’s, her hair turning white, yet styling itself into two curls. She smirked and then summoned her gun to her side, ready for action.
Then, Ram and Rom stood, their normal outfits vanishing before they posed, gaining the white and pink suits of their HDD forms, along with their respective staves, hair color, and eye color. The two gave a sort of hug, gaining their wings before posing, ready for combat.
“Don’t underestimate us,” Purple Sister said with a smirk.
“We’ll make sure you regret messing with us… again!” Black Sister added.
“You will fail before us!” the White Sisters finished in unison.
Thus, they moved in to attack. Underling and Pirachu began to move around to avoid them, but Black Sister got her gun ready for an attack.
“Atata (Hit home)! Atata! Atata!” she shouted as she fired, the blasts hitting and stunning them.
“...stun shots…” Pirachu gulped.
“Ready girls?” Purple Sister asked.
“Signature quad attack?” Black Sister said with a smile.
“Hai,”
With that, the girls started with Purple Sister flying forward and delivering a horizontal slash to Underling and Pirachu before firing behind her to knock them into the sky. Black Sister followed this up by shooting several bullets to the two as the White Sisters fired giant icicles at them, freezing them in place.
“Bring forth the coup de grace, Nepgear!” Black Sister shouted as Purple Sister flew high up into the sky
“Hai! Multiple Beam Launcher… FIRE!” Nepgear shouted as she fired a HUGE beam at the ice, shattering it and causing Underling and Pirachu to go flying, screaming before they disappeared in a sparkle of light.
“Yatta!” White Sister (Rom) cheered.
“We did it!” White Sister (Ram) smiled happily.

Soon, the monsters that were in the enemy disks hidden in the cameras had been taken out and the news crew saw that the forts made by Nepgear, Uni and Ram had sustained damage due to the attack, and they had to calculate the damage.
“Well, who won? I know it’s my fort, ‘cause I had the best designed!” Ram smirked.
“Puh-lease! I had the most floors and that means I had versatility! And the decency to not have pies thrown at the camera crew!” Uni stated smugly.
“Um… could we please not keep the kind miss from telling us the results?” Nepgear stated.
“Ano… well, due to the damages caused by the monsters… the best fort has to be… Rom’s,” Naja told the four girls.
“WHAT?!” Ram and Uni gawked as Rom was handed a ribbon saying ‘winner’.
“...I like ribbons,” Rom smiled.

“How could we lose to a BLANKET fort?!?!” Ram growled as the CPU and the Candidates had returned to the house of the Lowee CPUs.
“Well, sometimes it goes to show while big, shiny and new are nice at times, keeping things simple and classic are also nice,” Nepgear smiled.
“Ano… minna?” Rom blinked, “Do you… wanna… come into my fort?”
“Sure,” Nepgear smiled, Uni and Ram sighing before they followed suit.
After a few minutes, the four girls began to enjoy themselves, feeling happy as ever as they just sat and talked and after a bit, began to play a game of pretend.
“More tea?” Rom offered, pretending to hold up a tea kettle.
“Sure,” Nepgear giggled, handing her her cup before she ‘sipped it’, “So nice,”
Uni and Ram couldn’t help but giggle at this as they played along.
“You know… while competing is fun at times, let’s always remember that playing with each-other is just as needed so we can grow and become closer friends.” Nepgear smiled, as she looked to her friends
The Candidates giggled for a bit, before they all continued to play.
“Hey, wanna see if Onee-chan wants to join?” Ram asked.
“...let me ask,” Rom informed as she poked her head out the covers.
At the moment, Blanc was sitting down on the ground by a small table with a heavy blanket on top of it.
“Hey, hey hey hey hey hey hey… HEY~!” Neptune stated, poking Blanc in her shoulder as she read.
“...what?” Blanc stated in an annoyed tone.
“What’s this thingy?” Neptune inquired.
“Oh? Well, it is called a ‘kotatsu’, a small table covered by a heavy blanket with a heat source under it. I actually made this one myself,” Blanc smiled.
“You kidding me? I could do better than that,” Noire scoffed, making Blanc’s eyes twitch.
“What was that? I spent almost a week building this thing to perfection! I highly doubt you’d understand how to make a proper kotatsu!” Blanc snapped.
“Forgive me for saying this, but yours is… well,”
“If you dare say that word…”
“S-M-A-L-L!” Vert spelt out.
“WHY YOU…!!!” Blanc growled before she smirked, “That’s it! We’re going to compete to see who can make the best kotatsu! The Great Kotatsu-Off!” Blanc smirked.
Rom scooted back into her fort and turned to the other three CPU Candidates.
“Well?” Ram asked.
“They wanna join us?” Nepgear inquired.
“They’re… busy,” Rom informed.
“Oh… okay,” the Candidates shrugged as they continued their teaparty...

*As the ending instrumental began, we see the girls appear, starting with Neptune and Nepgear in their respective HDD forms, initially looking like holograms before they became solid, and started dancing, slowly joined by the other girls.*
I wish deatta kono basho de (I wish we met here, at this place again.)
*Neptune took IF and Compa by their wrists, and they ran off to Compa’s house, with Neptune recalling how she met Compa.*
Go fight inochi ga moeru made (Go fight blossom your life as far as is)
*Nepgear walked over and pulled her sister into a hug, before the two were joined by IF, Compa, Noire, Uni, Blanc, Ram, Rom and Vert.*
I don't forget hateshinai tabi e (I don’t forget our endless journey)
*Neptune stood with Blanc, Noire and Vert, before the four looked over their four landmasses with smiles*
Promise to you chikai wa hitotsu ni (Promise to you I will be near as one with you)
*Neptune slipped down from something, but before she could fall to the ground, Nepgear caught her, and she was aided by the other CPUs and the CPU Candidates.*
"Kanashimi no kazu dake kizuna ga musuba reru" (“Sadness, sorrow, grief, lament bond with harmony and tied together”)
*Neptune and Nepgear were then shown in their room back at home, both of them playing a videogame, with Histoire watching them goof off from behind a corner. Histoire looked at a picture in her tome, and then at the two girls.*
Megami-sama ga oshiete kureta (Goddess please lend me your help)
*Purple Heart stood before the night sky, holding her sword. She looked at it and sighed, seeing there were many enemies before her.*
Everybody now kioku no sora (Everybody now, sky of our memory)
*Purple Heart then flew forward to fight them. She then looked and saw that they were all dead already. She looked up to see Green Heart, Black Heart, White Heart and Purple Sister there, they waved and smiled at her.*
Happiness? Lucky? Your smile?
*Purple Heart giggled and smiled at her friends.*
Darenimo makenai egao ni aitai (I won’t give up, till I can see you smile)
*At a cliff, stood several figures that were silhouettes, several of them female,and some of them male. They all looked at Neptune playing around in a park, and they smiled at her.*
Everybody know akiramenai (Everybody know, don’t give up)
*Neptune and Nepgear began to dance together, before it cut to show them being asleep at home. It then cut to them working in the office part of their home, Neptune being less than thrilled at this.*
Happiness? Lucky? Your smile?
*Neptune looked at a picture sitting at the side of her desk, which was of herself, Nepgear, IF and Compa smiling.*
Mirai o tsukamou... Love&Peace (Let’s grasp the future. Love&Peace)
*She giggled and the camera focused at this as the song came to it’s end, finishing off with the girls dancing from the start of this ending sequence, ending with their hands together, the spaces forming hearts.*
